The newly founded Fintech Agency Hamburg is bringing international fintech companies to Hamburg. The joint project by Fintech Hamburg, a fintech initiative set up by Finanzplatz Hamburg e.V. and Hamburg Invest, was presented on Tuesday as part of the Fintech Week in betahaus. Together, the partners aim to strengthen the financial centre of Hamburg and convince successful fintech companies abroad to settle there by the Elbe.

On stage, Dr Reiner Brüggestrat, Deputy Chairman of Finanzplatz Hamburg e.V. and Dr Rolf Strittmatter, Chairman of the Management Board of Hamburg Marketing GmbH, explained how the idea of the agency had come about and what the partners are expecting from it.

At the same time, the publication Fintech Hamburg was presented, which included an overview of events happening on site and a detailed interview about the newly established agency with Eberhard Sautter, Board Member of Finanzplatz Hamburg e.V., and Dr Rolf Strittmatter.
